This Saturday, kids can possibly take home some fish and learn some new tricks during the Youth Fishing Expo, put on by the Bureau of Land Management's Buffalo Field Office.
Allison Barnes, with the Buffalo BLM Ofiice, said they were looking to do something fun in recognition of the National Get Outdoors Day June 9th, and they decided on a Youth Fishing Expo at the Buffalo Wetlands Pond. Along with members of the Wyoming Game and Fish, who stocked fish in the pond for the event, there will be BLM officials on hand to oversee the Expo and lend a hand and share some tips and techniques with the kids.
Barnes tells us more about what will be offered at the Expo.
All Wyoming Game and Fish regulations, restrictions and creel limits must be followed and everyone over 14 must have a valid fishing license.
The Youth Fishing Expo is open to all ages and will run from 9 to 11am this Saturday.
