Traditional and non-traditional students alike will have an opportunity to explore the classical philosophy of Plato during a class offered at Sheridan College this fall.
And teaching the program is none other than college president, Dr. Paul Young. Why Plato? Dr. Young explains.
The class, called Plato's Dialogues, will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 3:15 pm. Dr. Young says it's not so unusual for a head administrator to teach, and he's fulfilling a promise he made.
Plato's Dialogues is open to everyone, and has no prerequisites. It is a three credit class for a Classic writer who, Dr. Young assures, is “so accessible.”
