Young cowboys and cowgirls gave their all in competition Young Riders Rodeo held at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds this past Saturday.

Contestants from Colorado, Montana, and across Wyoming made this year's rodeo the largest ever with 80 participants. It's a rodeo geared for the younger contestants up to age 18 and teaches them life-long skills. Coordinator Judy Ferguson.

They start them off young at this rodeo.

This was the 3rd year Stevie Phillips to bring her two kids out to rodeo.

It's not only a social event for the kids, parents find time to catch up with friends at this rodeo as well.

This was the 11th year of the Young Riders Rodeo.
