Sheridan Memorial Hospital in partnership with the VA sponsored its 4th annual Wound Care Symposium Friday and Saturday demonstrating the latest best practices in wound care.
Geared for health care professionals, including administrators and office managers, it was for anyone who deals with wound care. Nancy Hooge, a clinical nurse educator at Sheridan Memorial says it the symposium dealt with a variety of wounds.
It was all about learning the latest on wound care. Physical therapist Marta Ostler explains.
Ostler says this type of education is a definite plus for Sheridan health care providers.
The conference was held at the Sheridan Wesleyan Church.
