CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming's unemployment rate has reached its lowest level in over three years. The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services reported that Wyoming's unemployment rate declined slightly between October and November, going from 5.2 percent to 5.1 percent. It's the lowest jobless rate in the state since March 2009.
Sublette, Niobrara and Converse counties all had rates at or below 3.9 percent, the lowest in the state. Teton had the highest rate at 9.6 percent. Wyoming's unemployment rate remains well below the national average of 7.7 percent.
