Two teams with the Wyoming Rural Development Council are in Sheridan conducting a community assessment that is a follow up to the one they conducted a little over five years ago. One team has been traveling around to various locations in the City to garner feedback and hear from the community, while the other team has been holding listening sessions at the Inner Circle at the Fulmer Library. The assessment will culminate with a Town Meeting this afternoon at City Hall in Council Chambers at 4 o'clock.
Senior Rural Development Specialist Jo Ferguson with the Wyoming Rural Development Council explains what will be done once they've gathered all of the information from the follow up assessment.
Ferguson said that some of the feedback they've received so far has had to do with the completion of the pathways and water lines, along with improving the traffic flow throughout Sheridan. Ferguson also indicated that the community assessment follow up report will be made available to the City sometime in November of this year.
