UW Study Shows More Big Wildfires Likely

A study on the history of wildfires over the past 2,000 years conducted by the University of Wyoming shows that large wildfires will continue to increase as a result of a warming climate.

SLIB Awards $25K For Buffalo Civic Center Study

The Wyoming State Lands and Investments Board (SLIB) awarded a number of grant application requests at their October 1st meeting in Cheyenne last week, including a nearly $25,000 request for a planning grant for the Bomber Mountain Civic Center multi-use facility.
