The University of Wyoming in Laramie launched a new endeavor last week, a meeting to discuss further education for school leaders. University spokesman Chad Baldwin called the class, the Wyoming Education Leadership Collaboration.
Phase three of the Wyoming Avenue Park Street area reconstruction project is set to begin soon. A neighborhood meeting hosted by the City of Sheridan was held Wednesday night to give residents a chance to ask questions and find out more about the final phase of the project.
Chemistry was the subject and rockets were the tools at this month's “Wacky Science Program” held at the library Wednesday morning. Rockets were launched by the young chemists, some ending up on the roof of the library.
There's nothing like getting your hands on a new book and the local Kiwanis Club made that possible. Since 1991, Kiwanis has provided the funding for the “Children's Book Giveaway” held at the library Wednesday.
