Buffalo City Attorney Ben Kirven brought a settlement proposal before the city council at their last meeting, suggesting to them it might be the best solution to an ongoing issue with the waste water treatment plant.
Rebecca Lewis, 59, lacked direction after she was honorably discharged from the army in 1986. After years of intermittent homeless, Lewis moved to Cheyenne and connected to the city’s office of Veterans Affairs, where she was able to collect her disability income and connect with assistance to find housing.

The Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library now hosts one of the fastest connectivity speeds of any library in the state. The intenet remodeling was made possible via community contributions equal to the amount of $50,000.
Patrons at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library will walk in to a pleasant surprise the next time they go looking for reference materials or Internet access.
The University of Wyoming hired the consulting firm of Greenwood/Asher and Associates to assist in the search for a new president of the university. Monday night, Betty Asher with the consulting firm was in Sheridan to receive input during a public listening session.
Sheridan Media reported last week that the Johnson County Commissioners had approved paying the legal fees incurred by County Assessor Cindy Rogers in connection with the proposed lease of water rights by the Wyoming Game and Fish and the possible tax ramifications that could have possibly stemmed from allowing the lease.
