Wyoming author C. M. Wendelboe will be at the Johnson County Library Friday morning, June 7th at 10am for a discussion and book signing featuring his latest book, “Death on the Greasy Grass.”
Wendelboe, a former law enforcement officer with many many years experience, including a time as a deputy sheriff in Campbell County, has previously written two books, both pertaining to the same mystery series called the “Spirit Road Mysteries.”
Those books, “Death Along the Spirit Road” and “Death Where the Bad Rocks Live” are both part of the library's collection and available to borrow.
According to his website www.spiritroadmystries.com, Wendelboe now revisits the Pine Ridge Reservation area including the Black Hills, the Badlands and other sites that are sacred places to the Lakota people , for research and recreation. He has garnered an appreciation of their culture and spirituality. His developing awareness of their diverse perspectives on historical and contemporary issues is reflected in the themes of the “Spirit Road Mysteries.”
The public is welcome to attend the discussion and book signing Friday morning. For questions contact the Johnson County Library at 684-5546.
