Both Wyoming Senators, John Barrasso and Mike Enzi, voted against the immigration reform bill this week even though 71 percent of Wyomingites polled say they support the proposal. The bill provides for border security measures and a rigerous path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants already living here. Brock McCleary with Harper Polling says this issue has gone beyond partisanship.
Wyoming citizens aren't the only ones showing support for reform. Charles Spies with Republicans for Immigration Reform says it's a national trend.
The survey of Wyoming residents was evenly split among republicans, democrats, and those with no party affiliation.
