Return to the Forbidden Planet, or what they're calling Shakespeare's “forgotten rock & roll masterpiece,” is the WYO Theater's annual Gala. The show is tonight at the WYO Theater in Sheridan. Director Doug Sheehan says Forbidden Planet is probably unlike any Shakespeare you've ever seen or read before:
Though, the basic story line does have some space-age parallels to traditional Shakespeare. Sort of.
There are still a couple of tickets left for the gala tonight, which is at 6 pm at the WYO Theater. There will also be several encore shows next Thursday through Sunday.
