WYDOT Advises Traveling Cowboy Fans of One Remaining Construction Project

Cowboy fans traveling to Laramie for the University of Wyoming Homecoming game this Saturday should be aware of one remaining road construction project on WYO 34 Sybille Canyon between Wheatland and Laramie.

According to a media release from WYDOT, pilot cars will operate Friday, Saturday and Sunday during daylight hours between Milepost 22 and 24 on WYO 34. Delays could be up to 20 minutes, and speeds are reduced to 40 miles per hour in the area.

The Cowboys will host the UNLV Rebels at War Memorial Stadium for Homecoming. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.

Homecoming festivities include a talk from former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev Friday afternoon at 3. Following his talk, U.S. Senator Alan Simpson will participate in a Q/A session with the former Soviet leader.
