U.S. Senator Mike Enzi praised a bipartisan education bill Wednesday that is aimed at strengthening state and local control over education.

Power outages that plagued Montana-Dakota Utility customers in Sheridan County for most of Wednesday were repaired by Wednesday night, and the National Weather Service discontinued a high wind warning for the area.

As Sheridan Media reported earlier, three Sheridan County residents have been named as Habitat Heroes by Audubon Rockies for their work in landscapes that create essential habitat for birds, pollinators and other wildlife. Sheridan Media reporter Pat Blair recently interviewed one of the heroes, and filed this story.

First Flight Scheduled for Today Takeoff

The first flight for Sheridan’s restored commercial air service is scheduled for takeoff, today. In celebration of the event, a party has been planned to launch the restart. The event will be held from 11-1 today at the Sheridan County Airport terminal.
