City to Recognize Outgoing Councilor

Sheridan City Councilman Robert Webster has served on the council for two decades. Monday night will be Webster's last meeting and Sheridan Mayor John Heath says that the council will take time to recognize his accomplishments and service to the city.

The Retrospective Invitational Art Show is on display at the Sagebrush Community Art Center located in the Sheridan's Old Train Depot on Fifth Street.

Barrasso Energy Bill Passes Senate

Friday, Wyoming U.S. Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY) and New Mexico Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M.) welcomed the Senate’s passage of the National Defense Authorization Act, which included their bi-partisan bill to permanently reauthorize and reform a Bureau of Land Management pilot program.

Governor Defends Regional Haze Plan

Friday, Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead filed a brief in the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals supporting its plan to control nitrogen oxides against a challenge from environmental groups.
