The Parent Information Center in Buffalo will present a workshop on bullying Tuesday at the Johnson County Healthcare Center.
The workshop is for parents, child care providers or others interested in learning more about the characteristics of bullies and their targets and learning some strategies for dealing with bullies and how to cope with the problem.
Juanita Bybee, PIC Outreach Parent Liaison, said that bullying is still prevalent everyday in our society.
She explains more about what attendees can expect at the workshop.
Bybee tells us who the victims usually are and the types of bullying they can be subjected to.
The workshop will be from 6 to 8pm Tuesday night at the JCHC's Lake Angeline Room.
There is no cost to families of children with disabilities, but $10 is asked for childcare providers, educators and other providers to attend (payable at the door). And STARS credit is available.
