Work Session On Property Tax Relief May 29th In Buffalo

Coming up on Wednesday, May 29th, the Johnson County Treasurer's Office will be holding a work session on the Property Tax Relief Program offered by the State of Wyoming.

To qualify for the Property Tax Relief Program, you must have a median household income of $43,005.00 and your personal assets must not exceed $109,040.00 per adult household member (excluding the primary home, car per each adult and any retirement accounts).

Those who qualify and would like help filling out the form are invited to attend the work session, which will begin at 10am Wednesday, May 29th in the Johnson County Commissioner's Chambers upstairs at the Historic Courthouse.

Those attending will need to bring: 1) the front page of their Federal income tax returns, if applicable; 2) Schedule C and/or F of Federal income tax returns, if applicable; 3) property tax bill on the subject property; 4)property tax payment receipts on the subject property; 5) a copy of the year-end statement of social security, pension, and all other income received for any adult member of the household who was not required to file a Federal income tax return.
