Due to the President's Day holiday, the Sheridan City Council will not be meeting tonight, as their meeting is set for tomorrow evening.
Something fairly new for the council is shifting their work sessions from what used to be over the noon hour during the weekdays, to an hour prior to their regularly scheduled council meetings. Councilman John Heath says that this works out better for both the council and the public.
Tuesday's work session before the regular council meeting will consist of an update on capital improvement projects; a legislative update and the plan for the upcoming budget work sessions. The council will address the ordinance that was tabled two weeks pertaining to at-large council positions. We'll have more on that story for you tomorrow.
