The Wyoming Department of Transportation has awarded a contract to Intermountain Construction and Materials of Gillette for a project on Big Goose Highway. The project will get underway in the spring of 2011 and is expected to be completed by fall of 2011.
WYDOT Public Involvement Specialist Ronda Holwell says that the project will consist of some basic milling and overlay, but what the public will most likely notice is completely different from the usual road work.
Holwell stated that the project is estimated to cost $1.3 million and is being funded and administered by WYDOT.
