The Wyoming Wilderness Association will host the first-ever Winter Wilderness Holiday Ball Wednesday night at the Historic Sheridan Inn with a little something for everybody.

Activities for all ages will be available, including kids games, Parlor Poker and a silent auction. Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $18 for adults, $15 for students, military and seniors and kids 12-and-under get in free. The ball is set for 6 pm to midnight tonight.
The Wyoming Wilderness Association, which currently has about 500 members, was started in 1979 and pushed the Wyoming Wilderness Act of 1984, which brought the protection of an additional 1.1 million acres of land in the state.
