For the hundreds of people coming to town for the Big Horn Country USA Country Music Festival, finding a place to stay might be a problem. Wildflower Campground was set up for just the occasion and Sheridan Media's Judy Hagerott stopped by to bring us the report.
Now, you wouldn't think a hay field north of town would serve much purpose except for feeding cows, but driving past the old Port of Entry, north of town, looking left, out on the horizon you'll spy a new campground that has just sprung up.
It's call Wildflower Campground and Dan Kodesh came from Minnesota just to get it organized.
All told, close to 250 campers will claim their little piece of hayfield. Ninety-five percent of the spaces have been sold and 90% of those were reserved in advance on the Internet.
Chris Ratcliff was sitting outside her camper with a friend. For them, it's a time to get away from Casper.
Several school buses plus the trolley will be shuttling concert goers back and forth and Ratcliff says there's good reason.
Just a couple of campsites down I found a couple also from Casper.
Marcella Mathill and her husband are out touring the countryside and their first stop was Sheridan for the music festival. She tells us the whole purpose of their journey.
Her husband Rod had this to say.
