With several wildfires burning nearby and a few days of high winds, the city of Sheridan has been blanketed in a distinct cloud of smoke.
That campfire smell serves as another reminder to be aware of the imminent fire danger in our area, but those with allergies other issues have to be extra vigilant of taking care of themselves. Toby Granger, a nurse at the public health clinic, said the smoke can be irritating to a lot of people.
Granger said the best defense is an individual knowing their own limitations when it comes to being outside.
