Her name is Sophie, a six year-old bull mastiff owned by David Harbour. She took top honors and earned the title of the “Toughest Dog in Town.” It was no small feat as Sophie pulled a wagon loaded down with 640 pounds of dog food. Harbour says the key for Sophie was encouragement from her family. The Doggie Weight Pull Contest was held on Saturday and sponsored by Paw Prints Pet Boutique. Kayla Corcoran coordinated the event. Licia Bleidner was there with eight year-old, crowd favorite, “Logan,” who pulled 580 pounds of dog food. Bleidner couldn't have been any prouder of her pooch. The dogs were put in brackets according to the dog's weight.
