WGFD Hosts Meeting About Proposed License Changes

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is hosting a series of public discussions around the state to get public input regarding three issues regarding the way hunting license administration operates.

First, it is proposed that trophy game hunters should be eligible for a refund if federal or state regulations close the season. Second, Harvest Information Program (HIP) Permits may be moved to online-only availability. Finally, the department is considering selling lifetime licenses at regional offices as well as the Cheyenne office.

Public Information Officer, Warren Mischke, says these three items aim to provide a higher level of customer service to Wyoming sportsmen.

The Sheridan meeting will be Tuesday night at 5 o'clock at the Game and Fish Regional Office at 700 Valley View.
