The Wyoming Department of Health reports that there are now eighty-one cases of laboratory confirmed swine flu in the state of Wyoming, including one hospitalization.
The hospitalized patient, an adult female from Lincoln County has been diagnosed as having underlying conditions and has been released from the hospital and is recovering.
Wyoming Department of Health Public Information Officer Kim Deti explains the complexity of testing for the virus.
Deti says there's a silver lining in the fact that case numbers continue to go up in the state.
Laramie County has the most lab confirmed cases with 53. As of today, there hasn't been any confirmed cases of swine flu in Sheridan County.
