Common Core Education Standards are learning goals that outline what a student should know and be able to do by the of each grade level to ensure that all students graduate with the skills necessary to succeed.
It's all based on standardized testing which will rank and rate students K-12 on their test scores. No exceptions. A one-size fit-all education system that could parcel out opportunities for students simply based on test scores.
Many states are taking notice and repealing the Common Core standards.
This week's Bank of Sheridan/Sheridan Media poll question asks: “Should the Common Core Education Standards be repealed in the state of Wyoming?”
