This Week's Poll Question

Posted in

It's tough to make ends meet, especially is a sluggish economy. Those making the minimum wage are sometimes forced to work two or three jobs just to pay the bills.

The federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, but Wyoming's minimum wage hasn't even kept up; it sits at $5.15 an hour and tipped persons earn a paltry $2.13 per hour. It's only been three times in the last 30 years that Congress has raised the minimum wage prompting this week's Bank of Sheridan/Sheridan Media poll question:

“Should Congress raise the federal minimum wage?”
