Family Counselor Lynn Gordon of Sheridan will talk about self-esteem and how to build good self-esteem tomorrow in a presentation at Sheridan College's Main Street facilities.
The free event starts at 12:10 and is part of Gordon's series of Brown Bag lunch seminars that began last year.
The programs are given on the second, third and fourth Wednesdays each month. This month's focus on self-care. The counselor said all topics are stand-alone, so people can attend one, some or all of them. Next week's seminar will be on time use, and the March 26 topic will be self-care.
The counselor will focus on personal growth and change in the April seminars. People who wish to attend the events are invited to bring sack lunches. There is no need to register. Gordon is with the Family and Personal Counseling Center of Sheridan, and the seminars are hosted by Sheridan College and the Center for Workforce and Community Education.
