Bruce Heilman will be on AM 930 KROE Public Pulse Friday, August 13th at 9:10 until 10 am.

Coming up on the Friday, August 13th edition of Public Pulse on KROE, host Kim Love will be speaking to 83-year-old Bruce Heilman. Heilman got his first motorcycle at the age of 72, driving it across the coutry at the age of 80. His adventures got Love thinking about age and driving, prompting this week's Bank of Sheridan / sheridanmedia.com poll question: “Should senior citizens be tested in order to get their driver's license renewed?”

Let us know what you think. Click here to cast your vote: http://www.sheridanmedia.com/pol.... Then be sure to tune in to NewsTalk 930 KROE to hear the results this Friday morning on the Jackson Electric Open Line. Heilman will also be discussing his book "An Interruption That Lasted a Lifetime".

Violations

Rather than have this dictated by age, I think it would be better and more useful to be dictated by moving violations. There are a lot of old people that drive quite fine and have few if any moving violations on their record. On the other hand, I see a LOT of people that obviously could use a retesting to remind them about laws like tailgating, pulling out in front of people, and lane changing.
