A free pancake breakfast is being served this morning, from 7-9, at the Johnson County Airport in Buffalo, followed by airplane ride-a-longs until 1 in the afternoon.

Organizer Amy Gerlock said children will have the opportunity to fly for free, once again. The event is sponsored by Wyoming Pilots For Christ.

Helicopter rides will also be offered and there will be a car show on the grounds.

Crook Diorama Dedication

The long-awaited official unveiling of the diorama depicting General Crook's 1876 camp in Sheridan created by artist Tom Warnke will be this afternoon, at 4, at the Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library in Sheridan.

Wyoming Room Director Judy Slack explains the significance of the date and time.

As part of the dedication, she said local historian Jeff Prater will talk about the historic significance of Crook's stop here in Sheridan. Also, as part of the program, the artist will discuss his diorama and how built the scene, joined by Connie Robinson who created the mural background.

The room where the diorama is housed will be open to the public from 1 until 5 today. The diorama can also be viewed during regular library hours, which are, daily, from 9-5.
