It's time once again to take a look back at some of the top stories from this past week with our Sheridan Media Week in Review.

Tuesday featured candidates for federal and state positions, while Wednesday included candidates for county, city, and town positions. The Primary Election will take place Tuesday, August 19.
The Downtown Sheridan Association announced that Beth Holsinger would be their new executive director. Holsinger, in an interview with Sheridan Media, said that her involvement with the DSA dates back almost a decade.
A Sheridan man was arrested for being in possession of a large amount of prescription drugs. 26-year-old Kyle Logan Fearnow of Sheridan was arrested Wednesday on a municipal court warrant at his current address, the Apple Tree Inn. According to Sheridan Police Sgt. Travis Koltiska, upon arrival at the detention center, Fearnow was searched and found to be concealing nearly 400 prescription drugs.
Koltiska added that detectives with the Sheridan Police Department were called to assist and executed a search warrant on Fearnow’s room. During the search more than 6,000 prescription narcotics were recovered, along with a loaded firearm. Fearnow faces multiple charges related to the investigation, which include felony possession of a controlled substance and taking a controlled substance into a jail. Additional charges are pending.
