It's time once again to take a look back at a few of the top stories from this past week with our Sheridan Media Week in Review. During a two-day legislative forum in Sheridan, State Representative Rosie Berger said that despite the state having an increase on investment returns, legislators will remain conservative during the upcoming budget session.
State Senator John Schiffer stated during the forum that Wyoming and Montana are embattled in a fierce competition over tourism dollars.
A re-sentencing hearing for 20-year-old Dharminder Vir Sen was held in Fourth Judicial District Court in Sheridan. Sen was convicted of First Degree Murder for the 2009 home invasion killing of Robert Ernst of Sheridan and was sentenced to life in prison without parole in 2010.
He was also convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Burglary. District Court Judge John Fenn sentenced Sen to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 35 years of incarceration.
