Water Supply for Sheridan and SAWS Remains Normal

The water supply outlook for the City of Sheridan and the Sheridan Area Water Supply, or SAWS, remains in pretty good shape despite the rest of the state facing a possible drought this summer. City of Sheridan Water Supply and Treatment Superintendent Tom Manolis gave an update at Wednesday's SAWS Joint Powers Board monthly meeting that indicated that things are rather normal at this point in the water year.

During his report, Manolis said that both mountain reservoirs are at maximum capacity and that they are constantly monitoring the situation with a drought response plan in place if conditions worsen over the next few months.
