The Sheridan Area Water Supply Joint Powers Board approved a new policy that will affect customers prior to June 21, 1989, who've not yet connected to the system, but have paid the minimum base rate since September 1, 1994. SAWS Project Manager Dan Coughlin says that here are three options that those customers will have.
Coughlin added that the new policy pertains to 57 customers of the SAWS system. The Joint Powers Board also approved a water leak adjustment for just over $1,200 for a resident on Highway 335 in Sheridan County. Since the amount totaled over $1,000, the adjustment had to be approved by the board.
