The City of Sheridan rolled out the red carpet Wednesday night to kick off the start of the four-day Wyoming Association of Municipalities Convention.

Held at the Historic Sheridan Inn, Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey says it's all about sharing ideas on how to make tight budgets stretch further.

Dayton Mayor Bob Wood has been to every WAM convention and says it's all about sharing ideas and what works for different towns.

Highlighting the evening were performances by the Crow Tribe dancers and Indian Chanters.

Great food, lots of information sharing, classes, the Crow Indian Dancers were also part of the entertainment for the evening.

The Wyoming Association of Municipalities is all about building strong communities in the 100-plus member towns across the state.
