Miguel Bustillo, Deputy Dallas Bureau Chief with the Wall Street Journal, is in Buffalo this week, researching the Cowboy Carousel, its history here and the push to get the local treasure a new home, get it repaired and open again for the public to enjoy.
Arnette Tiller, with the Carousel Committee, explains how Bustillo ended up in the middle of Wyoming researching a story for a National publication.
Bustillo was given tours of the current carousel building and its future home on North Lobban, and was given the opportunity to interview Carousel Committee Board members, local dignitaries and public officials. He will continue exploring Buffalo and will be talking to “the man on the street” for more opinions before he leaves later this week.
Tiller said the story will be in print and in the internet version of the Journal, but so far no specific publishing date has been set.
