Clarification on who would handle vehicle identification number inspections was the topic of Monday night's meeting between the Sheridan County Commissioners and the Sheridan City Council. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.
It didn't take long for both governmental bodies to reach the decision that the VIN inspection process would continue to be handled by both the Sheridan Police Department and the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office. Police Chief Richard Adriaens.
Mayor Dave Kinskey says that the issue was pretty much resolved before both sides sat down at the table.
The next scheduled meeting between the County Commissioners and City Council is set for Monday the 19th at 6 o'clock at Sheridan City Hall.
