One of Buffalo's favorite Holiday traditions took place Sunday afternoon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as the annual Vesper's Program was held.
Many area vocalists and musicians took part in presenting traditional and not-so-traditional Christmas music, hymns, and carols to the many people that filled the church.
The event is sponsored by the Buffalo Music Study Club, which has been in existence since 1931, according to information handed out during the program.
The club offers music programs for the greater Buffalo community. They sponsor an annual county-wide student recital, an annual classical music program in Kaycee, and the Buffalo Chamber Ensemble, a community string group for all ages.
They also have given out nearly $4,000 in youth scholarships to help area music students better their instruments or expertise or for sheet music or other needs.
To honor the wishes of the venue, no pictures were taken or audio recorded of this year's Vesper's Program.
