A variance request submitted by property owners in Buffalo was approved by the city council at their last meeting.
The variance was needed to replace an existing building on property located qt 17 S. Tisdale with a new garage.
City Planning Director Lynn Barrett explained the issue to the council.
The Planning Commission had reviewed the request and recommended the council approve the variance, with the caveat that the new garage, on the Fetterman side and the alley side, could not extend past the current building's “footprint,” and to make sure that the new garage does not extend past the owner's property lines.
The council approved the request unanimously.
