The University of Wyoming's educational outreach program to different corners of the state, called Saturday University, is making an appearance in Sheridan this weekend. Paul Flesher, head of Saturday University and director of religious studies at the University of Wyoming, explains what the program is all about.
Flesher says three faculty members are typically brought up from Laramie for a Saturday morning of discussions on different topics. He says Saturday University will make a stop at the Spear-O-Wigwam campus this Saturday, thanks to assistance from Sheridan College.
He says an additional professor of zoology will be at the Spear-O-Wigwam campus Saturday morning talking about wildlife, and breaks down what the third and final presenter will be discussing.
Saturday University kicks off at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at the Spear-O-Wigwam campus. The program is entirely free, and yes, that includes a free lunch.
