The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees and newly instituted president, Bob Sternberg, kicked off a two-day stay in Sheridan with a meet and greet on Wednesday night at the Powder Horn Golf Club. Formerly president of the American Psychological Association, Sternberg explains his approach to higher education.
Sternberg told a story from his first year in college where he ended up getting a 'C' in an introductory psychology class. As his career developed, he met the Stanford University professor who created the simultaneously famous and infamous Stanford prison experiment, Philip Zimbardo. It turns out Zimbardo got a 'C' in his first psychology course too.
