UW Opens Biodiversity Conservation Facility

The University of Wyoming has a new, state-of-the-art biodiversity conservation facility, thanks to a $10 million donation from Bob and Carol Berry from Sheridan, and a match from the state of Wyoming. The new facility, which was dedicated this weekend, is 40,000 square feet and includes display areas, a new lecture hall, seminar rooms and a laboratory. It will be primarily dedicated to vertebrate diversity research, but will also be used used for education and research by UW students, faculty and staff to study ecology, genetics, population biology and molecular biology.
