The University of Wyoming will be hosting a Clean Coal Technology Research Symposium this Thursday. Researchers who have been awarded funding for advanced coal combustion technology projects will be presenting their findings at the symposium. School of Energy Resources Deputy Director Diana Hulme.
Since 2007, the Wyoming Legislature has appropriated over $31 million to foster advanced coal technology research. About 25.5 million has been awarded to projects that investigate clean-coal technologies, and 19 of those projects are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
