The University of Wyoming’s only peer-reviewed scientific journal, “Rocky Mountain Geology,” is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Editor and Geology Professor Art Snoke says the semi-annual publication has persisted because it fills an important niche for a high-quality journal devoted to the region’s unique geological features.
Snoke says the journal not only publishes the work of UW researchers, but includes submissions from researchers around the world.
