Arraignment For Michael Johnson Set For June 27th

The arraignment date for Michael Johnson, a former employee at a Buffalo newspaper, has been scheduled in Johnson County District Court for Monday, June 27th, where he will face multiple counts of sexual abuse, drug and child pornography charges.

County Adopts Proposal for CAST Administrator

Sheridan County commissioners have approved the appointment of Renee Obermueller as administrator for the city-county Critical Air Service Team, which is known as CAST.

A fire in a dumpster off North Main Street in Sheridan is under investigation.

Bighorn National Forest Offers Various Permits

Permits for various forest products are available from the Bighorn National Forest. The major products are firewood, posts and poles, Christmas Trees and Transplants. Each permit has a different set of terms and conditions that will need to be agreed to before they are purchased.

Rabies Cases on the Rise in Sheridan County

So far this year there have been 12 confirmed cases of rabies in Sheridan County. Sheridan Police Community Service Officer Ed Boone says that a recent report they received is a good reminder to all of the residents of Sheridan and Sheridan County.
