Johnson County Backing Investments Bill Passage

Johnson County's Commissioners.

Johnson County's Commissioners, along with many other cities, counties, and others in the state, are backing Senate File 19 (SF19) a bill that will allow local governments, special districts, and joint powers boards to invest their funds through the State Treasurer's Office.

A fire that occurred in Clearmont during the early morning hours on New Year's Day destroyed the bus barn for Sheridan County School District #3. The fire also destroyed three out of the district’s five buses.

The National Weather Service in Riverton released the latest Water Supply Outlook for the state Monday. The report shows that January precipitation totals across Wyoming were 92 to 97 percent of average.
