David Wendt was the sole candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives at Monday's election forum at Sheridan College, as Wyoming's current U.S. Representative, Cynthia Lummis, was not in attendance.
Mr. Wendt, a democrat, has worked for 30 years with global policy centers in Washington, DC and in Wyoming. This experience, he says, required him to work “across the aisle,” in order to build bipartisan coalitions involving government officials, business and nonprofit leaders, and policy and technical experts:
