While uranium mining is becoming more regulated across the U.S., Wyoming is seeing a boom in the industry across the state.
Daryle Murphy is conservation chair of the Wyoming Chapter of the Sierra Club. He says current methods are safer, and have a smaller footprint. He says projects could affect sage grouse.

The investigation is taking place at the facilities of Uranium One, in Canada.
