18-year-old Riley Larkins was arrested early Tuesday afternoon for his role in an incident involving a gun Monday night.

At about 1:30 Tuesday afternoon, 18-year-old Riley Larkins was located and arrested, says Sheridan County Attorney Matt Redle.

Word initially came from the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office this morning, indicating that a gun-related incident occurred Monday evening east of Sheridan.

Redle then told us what transpired.

After witnessing Finley with the brass knuckles and Larkins with the handgun, Derek Berrettini and Terrance McDougal turned their vehicle around and headed in the opposite direction.

Redle says that they told law enforcement officials that shots were fired toward their vehicle.

Both Redle and Lt. Mark Conrad with the Sheriff's Office say that as far as they know, Berrettini and McDougal were not summoned or lured to the location of the incident.

Jamison Finley made his Initial Appearance in Sheridan County Circuit Court Tuesday afternoon; Larkins will most likely make his Initial Appearance, Redle says, on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, as Circuit Court does not convene on Wednesdays.
