The Sheridan Police Department has released further information regarding an incident that occurred at Le Bella Beauty Supply and Salon in Sheridan. According to a media release from the SPD, just before 4 pm Saturday, officers were dispatched to the business to respond to a report of an unruly male subject.
The man went inside the business and explained that he wanted some “wax”, which the business did not have. The release states that the man became upset and left the salon and retreated to his vehicle and began “flipping off” the employees inside the business. Words between several of the employees and the male subject were exchanged in the parking lot, where the man unsheathed a large knife and displayed it to the employees while inside his vehicle.
After the subject left the scene, he was later stopped via a traffic stop with assistance from a Sheridan County Sheriff's Office Deputy and was interviewed about the incident that occurred at Le Bella. The man was not charged, however, the case has been forwarded for review to the Sheridan County Attorney's Office and charges may be forthcoming. The individuals name and age were not released due to the fact that he was not charged with a crime.
